Teofilo A. Dauhajre
Dr.Teofilo Dauhajre is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with more than three decades of clinical experience serving patients in New Jersey and the greater New York metropolitan area. He has maintained a continuous orthopedic practice since 1986 and currently practices in Guttenberg, New Jersey.
Dr. Dauhajre completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in Newark, following an internship in General Surgery at the same institution. He earned his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Fordham University.
He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. In addition to his broad orthopedic expertise, Dr. Dauhajre completed a specialized preceptorship in Endoscopic Spine Surgery under Dr. Anthony Yeung in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Dauhajre is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and has been an active member of the New Jersey Orthopedic Society since 1989. He is affiliated with Hackensack University Medical Center.
His academic contributions include publication in Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research on distal screw targeting of interlocking nails. Dr. Dauhajre is fluent in both English and Spanish and is known for his long-standing commitment to high-quality, patient-centered orthopedic care.
