The CGS Collective engages emerging leaders—typically in their 20s and 30s—through community-centered, purpose-driven philanthropy. With a special focus on mental health and food insecurity, members help advance critical programs and supports across New York.


About The CGS Collective

The CGS Collective is an associate board of Catholic Guardian Services designed for individuals who want to make a meaningful impact while building leadership skills and community.

As a member, you will have opportunities to:

  • Shape associate board priorities and impact

  • Connect with CGS Trustees and senior leadership

  • Engage directly with CGS programs and the communities they serve

  • Grow through mentorship and leadership development

  • Participate in service, fundraising, networking, and mission-focused events

  • Receive recognition and consideration for future Board leadership


Membership Commitment

Annual Contribution: $600 minimum

Members are asked to support Catholic Guardian Services through an annual or monthly contribution and to serve as ambassadors for the mission. This includes engaging personal and professional networks through outreach, introductions, corporate giving, and participation in fundraising efforts.

Catholic Guardian Services provides help, creates hope, and preserves dignity for more than 4,000 individuals and families each day across New York City, including thousands of children and caregivers facing urgent behavioral health and food access needs.

The CGS Collective exists to deepen engagement with this mission by inviting leaders to play an active role in advancing impact, strengthening programs, and building a community rooted in service and responsibility. With a core focus on mental health and food insecurity—two of the most urgent challenges facing families today—members also have opportunities to engage with all CGS programs serving communities across New York.
