Monday, November 3, 2025 | Ziegfeld Ballroom New York City

What an unforgettable evening of justice, compassion, and love.

Hosted by Giselle Delgado and joined by Rev. James Martin, S.J. and Miss America 2025 Cassie Donegan, we came together to honor Rich and Lauren Harding, recipients of the Child of Peace Award; Kathleen Cudahy, our Humanitarian Award honoree; and Rev. Msgr. Kevin Sullivan, who received the Servant of the People Award—with special recognition given to Skye and Summer Nelson, and Charlotte and Thomas Gray, recipients of the Carlo Acutis Youth Compassion Award.

Because of your generosity, we raised over $1 million to support children and families across New York City—providing help, creating hope, and preserving dignity where it’s needed most. But the need continues every day.

👇 Give today—or fulfill your pledge—to help families find safety, stability, and hope, and to keep the spirit of this record-breaking evening alive in the lives of those who need it most.

What Your Gift Empowers

Each level of giving to the 2025 Child of Peace Award Celebration helps Catholic Guardian Services extend compassion, dignity, and hope to children, families, and individuals across New York.

$15,000 — Empower Care & Possibility

Your generosity supports professionals who help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities learn, grow, and live with dignity—and fuels mental health counselors who guide children through trauma toward healing and hope.

$10,000 — Nurture New Beginnings

Your gift sustains prenatal and parenting programs that equip new mothers and fathers with the knowledge, confidence, and care they need to welcome their children safely and lovingly.

$5,000 — Heal Invisible Wounds

This level provides trauma-focused training for clinicians at our Family Counseling & Wellness Center, helping individuals move from pain to strength and renewal.

$2,500 — Welcome Home

Your support helps recruit and prepare foster parents who open their homes with love, stability, and belonging for children in need.

$1,000 — Lift Our Community in a Moment of Need

When essential supports like SNAP—the program that helps low-income families buy groceries—are disrupted, community must step forward. Your gift strengthens Catholic Guardian’s ability to respond swiftly, ensuring stability, dignity, and hope for families when they need it most.

$250 — A Day to Shine

Your contribution opens doors to after-school programs that give teens structure, mentorship, and belonging—helping them stay focused and reach their potential.

$125 — Fill Backpacks & Diaper Bags With Care

Your generosity helps families meet the most essential early childhood needs—filling backpacks with school supplies for young learners and stocking diaper bags with diapers, formula, wipes, and baby care items for newborns and toddlers.
