John Tietjen
Sterling Bancorp, Retired

Mr. Tietjen retired from Sterling Bancorp after 26 years serving in many capacities, finally as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and Executive Vice President of its Sterling National Bank subsidiary. Prior to joining Sterling Bancorp, Mr. Tietjen worked at Bank of Commerce for 16 years, eventually becoming Senior Vice President of Finance.

Mr. Tietjen is a graduate of Iona College, with a BBA degree in Accounting and an MBA in Organizational Behavior. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
