Every person deserves the opportunity to make choices about their life, build meaningful relationships, pursue personal goals, and be part of their community. Catholic Guardian Services provides person-centered supports for people with developmental disabilities and their families, with a focus on dignity, independence, inclusion, and self-determination.
Through residential services, respite, community-based supports, employment services, and skill development, we work alongside individuals to build on their strengths and create more opportunities to live, work, connect, and thrive in the ways that matter most to them. Families also gain trusted support that helps sustain stability and long-term well-being.

Residential Services
A home should be more than a place to live. It should be a place where a person feels connected, respected, and able to make choices about their everyday life. Catholic Guardian Services provides supportive residential homes for adults with developmental disabilities, with individualized assistance based on each person’s goals, preferences, and needs.
Residents are supported in building daily living skills, developing relationships, participating in their communities, and pursuing the activities and goals that are meaningful to them. Respite Services
Families and caregivers are an essential part of a strong support system, and they also need time to rest, recharge, and care for their own needs. Respite Services provide temporary, trusted support for people with developmental disabilities while giving caregivers greater flexibility and peace of mind.
During respite, individuals can continue engaging in meaningful activities and experiences in a safe, supportive environment. By supporting both the individual and the people who care for them, respite helps strengthen family stability and sustain caregiving relationships over time. Top ⌃

Community-Based Services for People with
Developmental Disabilities
Community-Based Services help people with developmental disabilities build skills, pursue personal goals, prepare for employment, and participate more fully in the life of their communities. Support is individualized around each person’s strengths, interests, and aspirations, with a focus on greater independence, confidence, and meaningful participation.
Through Community Habilitation, Prevocational Services, and Supported Employment, individuals can strengthen everyday skills, explore pathways to work, build community connections, and pursue opportunities that reflect the life they want to lead.
Community Habilitation
Community Habilitation provides individualized support to help people build skills and confidence through everyday experiences in their homes and communities. Depending on a person’s goals, support may focus on daily living skills, communication, relationships, community activities, greater independence, or other areas that are meaningful to them.
The program is shaped around each individual’s strengths and interests, helping people take a more active role in their communities and pursue the life they choose. Top ⌃
Supported Employment
Meaningful work can provide income, independence, purpose, and a stronger connection to community life. Supported Employment helps people with developmental disabilities find and maintain jobs that align with their interests, strengths, and employment goals.
Through job development, individualized coaching, and ongoing workplace support, participants build skills and confidence while becoming successful members of the workforce. Support can continue as needed to help individuals grow in their roles and pursue longer-term career goals.
Prevocational Services
For someone who wants to work in the future, the first step may be building the skills, confidence, and experience needed to feel ready. Prevocational Services help people with developmental disabilities explore their interests and strengthen practical workplace skills before moving into employment. Top ⌃
