For nearly 140 years, Catholic Guardian Services has helped children, families, and individuals across New York City overcome crisis and build more stable futures.
Through preventive and family support services, foster care and permanency, mental and behavioral health care, programs for people with developmental disabilities, and other critical services, we help children, families, and individuals address challenges early, navigate crisis, strengthen stability, and build healthier futures.
Philanthropic support helps us go further—responding to urgent needs, expanding opportunity, and ensuring the people we serve have the resources and support they need to move forward with dignity and hope.

Make an Impact
Service has the greatest impact when it becomes something we do together. We invite Delbarton parents and families to support Catholic Guardian through giving, volunteering with their children, sharing their expertise, or bringing their businesses and communities alongside our mission.

Lead
Bring your leadership, experience, and network to our mission. Learn more about joining the Catholic Guardian Services Board of Directors or refer a family member, colleague, or emerging leader to the CGS Collective, our new Associate Board.
Provide
Help meet an immediate need. In-kind donations and collection drives can provide school supplies, children’s essentials, non-perishable food, toys for Christmas, and other resources directly to the people we walk alongside. To organize a collection or discuss current needs, contact Development@CatholicGuardian.org.
Volunteer
Share your time, talents, and heart for service. We welcome individuals, families, youth groups, schools, and corporate partners to engage through service projects, volunteer opportunities, and other meaningful ways to support our mission. And while our essential programs are based in New York, there are also ways to make an impact from home.
