Wendy Huang
Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Biologic Input Output Systems (BIOS)

Wendy Huang is Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Biologic Input Output Systems (BIOS), an early-stage, novel, neurotechnology company. BIOS has created a Universal Neural Interface that allows advanced and sensorized prostheses to move and feel like a biological arm.

Wendy is passionate about creating innovative businesses, solving first-to-market challenges, and implementing transformational change. Prior to co-founding BIOS, Wendy played a critical role in supporting the 1) commercial launch and manufacturing operations of the first cell and gene therapeutic in the US market, and 2) manufacturing, regulatory, and clinical development and launch for one of the first US mRNA COVID vaccines during the global pandemic. Wendy started her career at biotechnology companies and digital health care start-ups, and was a consultant at Boston Consulting Group and other boutique consulting firms.

In addition, Wendy founded the Team Survivor NYC chapter, one of 23 national 501(c)(3) affiliates, providing health and education services for women affected by cancer. The NYC organization ran from 2006 – 2015. She also continues to volunteer with Wedu as a mentor, unlocking leadership potential for high caliber Asian, first-generation women attending college.

Wendy holds an MBA from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Math and Economics from Northwestern University.
