Madelene Sutton is a mission-driven Global Human Resources executive with a proven track record of building high-performing, values-aligned teams. She partners closely with executive leadership to align human capital strategies with organizational purpose, ensuring that people-centered initiatives drive both operational excellence and long-term sustainability for the communities served.

Currently serving as Chief Human Resources Officer at Catholic Guardian Services, Madelene leads the design and execution of integrated HR disciplines focused on employee engagement, leadership development, and workforce stability. Her work centers on cultivating a culture rooted in dignity and accountability, empowering staff to deliver high-quality services to vulnerable children and families.

Across her career, Madelene has driven measurable outcomes throughout the full employee lifecycle. During her tenure as Head of People and Culture at AIP Publishing, she led the organization to achieve record-high retention rates and recognition as one of New York’s Best Companies to Work For for four consecutive years. This ability to strengthen organizational capability while honoring a distinct mission was further honed through senior leadership roles at The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. and The Harry Fox Agency, Inc.

Madelene holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Arts from Bernard Baruch College. A native New Yorker who now resides in New Jersey, Madelene is an avid reader and a passionate fan of music, travel, and sports—most notably football and basketball.
