D. Marc Herring
Founder, Herring Media Group

D. Marc Herring is a global media executive, brand strategist, and founder and CEO of Herring Media Group, a branding and communications consultancy he has led for more than 30 years. Based in New York City and Connecticut, he has advised organizations across the U.S., Europe, and Africa on brand strategy, identity, digital communications, and high-visibility public initiatives for clients including global financial institutions, cultural organizations, and public institutions. Earlier in his career, Marc served as Executive Director and Vice President of the Advance Communications Group (ADCOM) at FCB and worked with Landor Associates and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners. His career includes notable firsts and high-profile productions: Executive Producer of the Live Earth global broadcast with Al Gore, producer of the first television commercial created aboard the International Space Station, and producer of the John Lennon tribute at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Alongside his corporate work, Marc has remained active in arts and public service, including cultural initiatives with the Smithsonian Institution and other major museums, and leadership roles with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.
